Mid Term Review and Reflection








Up until week 8, I had not been given a plan of any description as to the work I would be doing, or the departments of the hotel that I would be gaining experience from. Since then, I have received a plan, so I know what I'm doing each day, which I find helpful so far. The plan involves experience in all departments from house-keeping, to accounts, sales department, and so on. I am eager to try out all areas as they are all so different and have unique importances to each. I feel more comfortable knowing my way around now, and not like I'm in the way. I'm looking forward to moving on to my next department in the hotel. Here I have attached pictures from the wedding fair which took place on February 20th, and a bonding trip I went on with some other staff members, to Tayto Park, Ashbourne, organised by Fáilte Ireland. The only thing about the wedding fair is I would have loved to have been more involved in it, I didn't play any part in the organisation of it which I was disappointed in. So far I've had no complaints about my work so I hope thats a good sign!
